Women's Retreats ~ Winter and Spring 2023
Friends ~
I’m ready now to offer women's retreats, finally! My intent is to create and offer meaningful and nourishing experiences for the time we live in.
Would you like to help me test and refine my ideas? If yes – or if maybe – please read on for the details. And please pass this information along to a friend.
When?
I’m now planning for January through April 2023. My schedule is flexible. If you’re interested, send me your available dates and I’ll create sample venues. I envision three nights for three women for each retreat. This too is flexible.
Where?
Taylor is a charming small town 45 minutes NE of Austin. Retreat participants will stay in Taylor Cottage and I will sleep next door. Up to three additional women from the Taylor community may participate in the daytime activities, by donation.
(I will also offer the option to stay additional nights -- before and after -- for private work with me or to experience a solo retreat in my cozy space, located next door to Taylor Cottage. If you think you might be interested in doing this, let’s discuss your ideas.)
What will we do?
I envision a tight-loose structure within which we co-create our experience. I welcome whatever you bring and I will share my interests and expertise.
In my current vision, we relax, practice yoga, dance, play, learn about the Enneagram, meditate, and enjoy deep conversation about navigating life — some or all, as we are inspired. There is a wonderful outdoor deck for sitting and places to walk nearby. Taylor has an interesting downtown to explore.
What will it cost?
As this is a test run for me, it’s inexpensive for you: $80/night. And if you wish to participate but the cost is an issue, let’s talk.
FYI, Amtrak stops in Taylor. For Austin friends who don’t want to drive to Taylor, I may be able to arrange a ride with a friend who commutes.
What about meals?
We will enjoy nourishing home cooking based on your dietary needs and preferences. I’ll prepare ahead of time, where feasible, to minimize our need to cook and wash up. You are also welcome or to go out and enjoy local cuisine or to bring whatever you like for yourself. Taylor Cottage has a well equipped kitchen and pantry staples.
Retreats are alcohol- and tobacco-free.
Final thoughts
So … if you think you may be interested, email me back and we’ll start a conversation about what kind of experience you envision and when you are able to participate.
Love to you ~
Kathryn
