Alexander Rodchenko.  The Artist’s Mother at the Table, 1920s

Gelatin silver print, 6.5 x 8.75 inches, printed in 1991-2 by Rodchenko’s grandson Alexander Lavrentiev in the artist's original darkroom in Moscow as a study for potential inclusion in the eventual publication in Alexander Rodchenko Museum Series Portfolios (published in 1990s).  A unique print unmounted, with Portfolio rubber-stamp on verso.  Subsequently published in a second series of the Portfolio in 1997.
