This Museum Series Portfolio no. 2 was produced in 1997 in an edition of 30 with 5 publisher's proofs. There are 28 photographs in this portfolio. It is in mint condition, complete, and is sold directly from the publisher. The portfolios quickly sold out in the 1990s, and is offered from the publisher's collection.
Each plate in the portfolio is a gelatin silver photograph by Russian avant-garde master photographer Alexander Rodchenko. They were printed in Rodchenko's original darkroom by his grandson and mounted on 17x14 inch archival lightfast greyish handmade paper, which was produced in the US by Twinrocker and designed to replicate the mounting papers used by Rodchenko in the 1920s and 1930s for exhibitions.
